This week I decided to start giving guitar lessons to my  good friend John Young.  He is already a very accomplished musician playing bluegrass guitar and electric blues. His grandfather is actually a pioneer of electric country, "chickin pickin" guitar, playing with country legend Porter Wagoner for decades.  He also composes electronic music with a synthesizer using  his computer and various insturments.

        I decided to teach him various styles of guitar playing.  I will start off with the styles of Jimi Hendrix and blues rock electric guitar. Songs such as "Little Wing" and "Red House".  Videos of our lesson will be posted next week.  So to all my readers, check out these songs on You Tube or Myspace and we will all start learning together!
